credit card dispute–?
I bought a pet from the pet store and it died. It was ill when I got it. I filed a credit card dispute over a charge on defective merchandise. The cc company said they couldn’t do anything. I will not pay it, period. I have told them that. But what really bothers me is that they took the merchant’s side. How common is that? And how much protection do you really have with credit card companies?
I will not pay that charge. I would file bankruptcy rather than paying for a dead pet, and have told the credit card company as much.
I’m so sorry about your dog and I would be doing the same thing you are, it if was sick when you got it then it’s the pet store where you got if from that needs to pay for it not you..
