Checkboxes in Word without protection?
I want to use checkbox in word without using the protect/unprotect document option present in the tool menu. When I tried using check box form field opiton, I have to double click the check box and then select the default value as checked or unchecked. (This is a pain considering my document has about 100 of these checkboxes)
So I want to select the check box without going into the checkbox form field options ( just by single clicking the check box)
The document has to be flexable to enter in text and copy and paste diagrams, so I don’t think the protect/unprotect would be helpful (unless there is a way I could protect only certain sections).
Any help would be great. Any ideas would be great.
Thank you!
Your wish is granted (in Word XP (2002) and probably adjacent versions, at least).
In the Protection dialog box (Tools->Protect Document menu item, next to the Forms radio button there’s a Sections button. If you click it you get some section-by-section protection control.
Hope that does it.
